Il Futuro
Director /Antimo Campanile
Il Futuro, directed by Antimo Campanile, is a hybrid short film that blurs the lines between fiction and documentary.
Set in a juvenile rehabilitation community in Frattaminore, near Naples, it delicately and realistically portrays the journey of five teenagers confronting their imminent release and the uncertainty of what lies ahead.
Through video-interviews, theatrical exercises, and first work experiences, the camera becomes a mirror of their fears, fragilities, and dreams, capturing the fragile balance between the risk of relapse and the hope of redemption.
Supported by Regione Campania and Film Commission Regione Campania, with the participation of the Office of the Guarantor of the Rights of Prisoners of Regione Campania, the film will be distributed from 2026 by Sayonara Film.
